🧘 Hi Everyone, I hope you are all having a great week!
Here is a quick summary of what happened in my week/what I learned

Going too hard 🐇
One of the biggest mistakes when people first go out of the door to train is following the mindset of “no pain no gain”. This might be true in some instances however, this is not the correct way to improve endurance events.
Instead what scientists and professional endurance athletes have discovered over time is that athletes will actually dramatically improve if they are training at an “easy pace” the majority of the time.
Going slow to go fast 🐢
The problem with training in the yellow and red zone too much is that it puts too much stress on the body and your body isn’t able to do large volumes of training. However, if you do lots of training in the green zone, you can increase your volume and eventually increase your fitness over time. This is why it is crucial to focus on building such a strong base and doing slow workouts, as the accumulation of these long slow workouts is what builds your fitness.
That is it for this fun fact of the week,
I hope you all have a great week
Thanks 🙏
